If you're traveling by car, Whalley is easily accessible via the M6 motorway. If you're coming from the south, exit the M6 at junction 31A and follow signs for Longridge and Clitheroe. If you're coming from the north, exit the M6 at junction 32 and follow signs for Blackburn and Preston.

Once you've exited the motorway, follow signs for Whalley. The village is located just off the A59, which runs between Blackburn and Skipton. From the A59, follow signs for Whalley and look out for brown signs for the Abbey.

​

If you're traveling by train, the nearest station to Whalley is Clitheroe, which is served by regular trains from Manchester, Bolton and Blackburn. From Clitheroe, you can take a bus or taxi to Whalley, which is located just a few miles away.

​

If you're traveling by bus, there are regular services from Blackburn, Clitheroe, and other nearby towns and villages. The bus station in Whalley is located on King Street, just a short walk from the village center.
